AN ITALIAN food chain will open the doors to its Irvine restaurant next week.
Tony Macaroni will open its new Riverway Retail Park restaurant on Wednesday, December 11, ready to serve you real italian food.
The chain will take over the former Frankie and Benny's site in the retail park, bringing around 25 jobs to the area.
North Ayrshire's Licensing Board approved an application for a transfer of the premises licence from the old Frankie and Benny’s site's owners to Tony Macaroni and amend its current activities in November.
The restaurant comprises of one level, including restaurant area with ancillary bar, kitchen, stores and ancillary offices and have an external terrace for the use of diners.
The chain also applied to add a new premises manager allow off-sales seven days from 10am-10pm, add home deliveries, add 'seasonal variation' to it activities description.
A delivery service will be on offer, with customers able to order food and alcohol to come to their doors
Agent Peter Lawson said if someone orders pasta and pizza for instance along with alcohol delivery staff would check age, adding that: “Alcohol would never be delivered without food.”
