A MAN has appeared in court accused of fraud.
David Figgins, 54, of Burnhouse Avenue Dalry allegedly stole £18,314.47 from his work, Pelican Finance.
He faces charge of fraud for falsifying a quantity of insurance applications after convincing his bosses that fake documents he had created were legitimate.
The false insurance policies led to a large sales commission allegedly being paid into Figgins bank account.
His trial will begin next year.
