The community of James McFarlane School came together to celebrate at the annual Christmas Fayre last Thursday, December 5.
Attended by parents and the local community, the event certainly got everyone in the mood for Noel.
A spokesperson for the school said: “The kids had great fun, they’d been preparing for it for the last two weeks making cards, decorations, Christmas tags, and lots of edible gifts.
“We had a bottle stall, a bric-a-brac stall, raffles, and we were well supported by our cluster schools.
“We’d like thank everyone, we raised over a thousand pounds.”
