Emergency services rush to scene after crash on A78
There has been a crash on A78 this morning.
Emergency services rushed to the scene after the incident at around 10.37am today (Wednesday, December 18).
It is understood that a vehicle went off the road on the northbound section between Irvine and Kilwinning.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At 10.37 this morning police were made aware of a Road Traffic Collision on the A78.
"At this time police, fire and paramedics are at the scene."
