Emergency services have rushed to the scene after a fire started in Saltcoats.
Fire crews responded to the ongoing incident at a flat in Raise Street just after 7.30pm this evening [Tuesday, January 7].
Ambulance crews have also been reported to be at the scene.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue service confirmed they were in attendance but currently unable to provide further details on the ongoing incident.
A spokesperson said: "We can confirm we are in attendance at Raise Street in Saltcoats, we have three appliances there at present.
"The call came in at 7.32pm this evening."
