Three Towns trains cancelled due severe weather at Saltcoats
Trains are off again in the Three Towns due to severe weather in Saltcoats.
Scotrail advise trains serving Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Stevenston are cancelled for the time being, with Glasgow trains terminating in Kilwinning.
A Scotrail spokesperson said: "Due to severe weather at Saltcoats, train services between Glasgow Central and Largs/Ardrossan Harbour will terminate and start back from Kilwinning. This is due to high winds and sea spray causing the overhead wires to trip."
