Famous historian visits Ardrossan pupils
Ardrossan history students enjoyed a very special visit last week.
Historian Professor Sir Tom Devine visited the school on Wednesday, January 15 to speak on a range of subjects.
Ardrossan Academy said: “We were honoured to be visited today by pre-eminent historian Professor Sir Tom Devine who spoke to our senior History class about migration and empire and a range of historical issues.
“Sir Tom encouraged students to value what history teaches us and to look outwards to the world.”
