A SALTCOATS lad wants to dance for Scotland - and the community could see a win in his future.

Dean Jackson has big dreams to represent Scotland in Florida’s International cheer union this April.

The 16-year-old has ‘devoted his entire life’ to dance after it gave him a way to express himself.

Now the community are hosting a charity night psychic night to raise funds to help the youngster dance for Scotland.

He has mastered the kicks, flips, splits, and other impressive moves so now all he needs is his plane ticket and stunning costumes.

The community have backed the ambitious lad with high hopes the Saltcoats teen can bring home a win and make Saltcoats proud.

Any donation for raffle prizes are welcome with tickets costing just £5 and include a full buffet.

Dean will also be performing his tricky dance moves to show residents he has what it takes to compete.

The event takes place in Saltcoats Labour Club on Friday, January 31.
