An ARDROSSAN woman allegedly bombarded another woman with racist insults at her home in the town.
Jessie Belshaw, of North Crescent Road, is said to have committed the alleged offence at her home on September 18 last year.
Prosecutors claim she “did act in a racially aggravated manner which caused or was intended to cause alarm or distress to a person, namely Inn Georgieva” by shouting, swearing and uttering racist remarks.
Belshaw, 67, faces a single charge under Section 50A(1)(b) and (5) of the Criminal Law (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 1995.
When the case against her called at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court this week, for a pre-trial hearing, it was adjourned until later this month, for the trial to take place.
