Nominations are due to open for Provost Clarkson’s Recognition Awards on 14 February.
Categories include: Community Group of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year and the Special Achievement Award.
The awards are a variation of the Provost’s Civic Pride Awards which were brought about nine years ago to recognise and celebrate the people and groups at the heart of our communities.
Provost Clarkson said: “With a brand new format, the awards and ceremonies will take place in May 2020 in each of the six North Ayrshire localities - North Coast & Cumbrae, Garnock Valley, Irvine, Kilwinning, Three Towns and Arran.
“Our new approach will see the award events aligned with our locality partnerships which will see more local people being rewarded for the excellent work they carry out.”
Nominations will be open until Friday, March 20.
So if you know somebody who deserves to be recognised for all the hard work they do in the community, show them your appreciation and vote for them online at the north-ayrshire.gov.uk website.
