A TEENAGER has died after calls for concern were raised on Sunday evening at a property in Saltcoats.
Around 8.30pm, police were called to the town's Canal Street where, sadly, the body of a 19-year-old man was found.
The death is not being treated as suspicious although police will submit a report to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called to a property on Canal Street, Saltcoats, around 8.30pm on Sunday, February 16, following a concern call from a member of the public.
"On arrival, officers found the body of a 19-year-old man within the property.
"There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.
"As with all sudden deaths, a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
