Residents of a Kilwinning care home souped up their rides for a special Pimp my Zimmer competition.
The homies at Buckreddan Care Centre had their walking aids decorated with all sorts of adornments before the winner was chosen by a visiting physiotherapist.
Judging the frames not only on style but also practicality, the winner was former fire-fighter Andy’s fire-engine themed zimmer.
Annemarie McDowell, activities coordinator, said: “The residents had a fabulous day, they had a buffet lunch, followed by entertainment and then strawberries and prosecco.”
