FOREHILL Primary School enjoyed an amazing morning of fun racing Lego cars last week.
The P3 children had been working on their designs as part of a new initiative to encourage kids to enter a primary school engineer project competition.
Children were urged to think about what they would like to design if they were an engineer as part of a Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) program.
They then set to work building Lego cars, before the big race day to see how their designs would fare.
The classmates used measuring equipment to see how far the cars would travel.
Youngsters had a great time getting involved.
There was smiles all round as they showed off the new wheels they had been working on.
Photographer Alister Firth was there to capture all the action.
