Thirty primary school teams from across North Ayrshire converged on Greenwood Conference to contest EuroQuiz 2020.
Four rounds of tough questions set by the Scottish European Educational Trust and hosted by Dennis Hopkins, head teacher at St. Bridget’s Primary in Kilbirnie, did not dampen the enthusiasm nor hinder the excitement of the one hundred and twenty primary sixes and thirty staff.
There has never been a closer quiz with St.Mary’s Primary in Largs finishing first but only one point behind came Skelmorlie and Largs in joint second place.
St. Mary’s will now go on to represent North Ayrshire at the national EuroQuiz at the Scottish Parliament.
