There are now 21 individuals in Ayrshire who have tested positive for coronavirus.
The total is up 5 in the last 24 hours.
Across Scotland, the number of positive COVID-19 tests is 373 and seven patients, all with underlying health conditions, have died.
Yesterday, government told all cafes, bars, restaurants, nightclubs, theatres and cinemas to close.
Shoppers across Ayrshire have continued to clear supermarket shelves despite being urged to shop sensibly.
Rural Economy Secretary Fergus Ewing said: "The issue is that, currently, demand is so high that products cannot be replenished on shelves in time, which is creating a perception of food shortages.
"This is a false picture though, and pressure on the supply could be greatly eased if shoppers buy just what they need rather than stockpiling.
"So I am calling on consumers to please shop considerately."
