AN AYR student was celebrating after he won a silver medal at a British University karate competition.
Sports development student Dylan Rush picked up the runners-up spot, as he reached the final of the men’s senior under 67kg Kumite competition.
The sporty student was joining classmates at the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) Scottish Conference Cup.
The university also had success in basketball, with the men’s team winning the tournament and the women securing a silver.
