An Ardrossan man has been released on bail after being charged with alleged robbery and carrying a weapon.
Stephen Quinn faced four charges when he appeared in court from custody today [Monday, May 18] following his arrest in Ardrossan on Sunday [May 17].
The 41-year-old faced one charge of robbery, one of theft, another of possession of an offensive weapon and also possession of a controlled drug.
Quinn entered no plea to the allegations when he appeared in private at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court.
He was committed for further examination and released on bail.
He will return to court at a later date.
