A man was taken to hospital after a collision that destroyed a garden fence and ended with a car on its roof in Saltcoats.
Shortly before midnight last night, police responded to reports of a road traffic incident near to Moffat Wynd and Auchanshangan Drive.
Images from the scene show a vehicle upside down and the destruction of fencing.
The 51-year-old man who was driving the car was removed and taken to Crosshouse Hospital and is being reported to the Procurator Fiscal for dangerous driving.
A Police spokesperson said: "About 11.50pm on May 20, 2020, police received several reports of a road traffic collision near to Moffat Wynd and Auchanshangan Drive.
"Police attended allong with SFRS and the Scottish Ambulance Service, the male driver was removed and conveyed to Crosshouse Hospital for further treatment.
"An extensive area seach was conducted to confirm that there had been no further persons within at the time of the accident."
