THE Seamill Hydro Hotel has launched a campaign to thank the heroes of the pandemic.

The hotel has been showing its support for key workers as part of the ‘Closed Hotel Open Hearts’ campaign which reached over 100,00 people and now it has gone even further.

Under the banner of COVID Heroes, Seamill Hydro hopes to offer thousands of free overnight stays to reward front-line NHS and care sector workers.

Over 3,500 employees and volunteers who have been battling the virus have so far registered to benefit from the campaign.

Guests are now being invited to book a hotel bedroom from August to December 2020 and use the promotional code GIVE20 on the hotel website.

Seamill Hydro will then add a donation of 20 per cent of the value of the booking to their ‘Heroes Fund’. The Heroes Fund will then be used to donate free overnight stays to the registered beneficiaries.

During the booking process, guests can leave a personal message to the ‘COVID Hero’ that their booking helps to provide a free room.

These messages will be printed into specially designed gift cards that will be left in each free room.

While the hotel recovers from the impact of the recent closure, rates have been set to historically low levels for the time of year.

All rooms booked during the campaign are being offered under the hotel’s no quibble coronavirus cancellations policy, which gives guests complete flexibility to cancel or rearrange for any reason with as little as just 24 hours notice.
