Members of Redburn Community Hub recently a held a theme day, ‘T in the Hub’ to boost the morale of staff and volunteers after a busy few weeks of providing for the community.

Staff member Toni said: “It can be hard going in the hub some days and we don’t get to enjoy the weather as much as we would like, so it was good to incorporate something different and do something fun to break up our day.

“We all wore festival attire and our call handler Colleen even made us wristbands and posters for each room in the hub.”

The foodbank became the ‘food tent’ for the day and the Locality’s Officers office became the ‘VIP tent’.

The call handlers office also became the ‘main stage’.

Staff and volunteers at the community hubs have been working extremely hard to support and provide for the community during the pandemic and have done a brilliant job.

Well done to all of the volunteers.
