They are dedicated to helping out wherever possible throughout the current circumstances, lending support and assistance to those in need throughout the surrounding community.

As part of this, they have three key projects designed to address needs across a broad spectrum of issues.

One of their key projects, known as ‘Lend an Ear’, is a service which has been operating for nearly two years and has developed to face the challenges created by the current situation.

The listening service offers a warm voice and a friendly ear to people throughout the local area.

A Beith Trust spokesperson said: “A wee chat can make a world of difference and we couldn’t be prouder of the fantastic work our volunteers both old and new are doing to help make things a little easier for everyone out there.”

The dedicated team of volunteers also offer weekly food packages, at the cost of only five pounds for people in need.

The food packages include delicious home cooked meals, tasty treats and lots more which are put together at Geilsland Hall site.

Their most recent project was recruiting wonderful volunteers from the local community to become Community Shoppers and assist people by doing their shopping for them.
