Beith Trust recently received an extremely kind donation of £300 from an elderly gentleman living in the town.

He had been receiving food parcels and decided he wanted to give back to his community.

Volunteers at Beith Trust then decided to use the money to make gift bags for their ‘Lend an ear’ clients to show how much they mean to everyone.

Claire McWilliam, Community Development Manager of Beith Trust said: “We wanted to deliver these gift bags to show residents that they are a huge part of the community and also to decrease social isolation for those who have been living alone during the lockdown.”
