Three men are being held in custody after a fight kicked off in Ardrossan that left two injured.
Two men, aged 41 and 45, were treated in hospital after the incident in Glasgow Street at 6.45pm on Saturday night [August 1].
Police Scotland confirmed three men aged 46, 54 and 51 were arrested following an altercation and charged.
A spokesperson said: "Police were called to Glasgow Street, Ardrossan, at around 6.45pm on Saturday, 1 August following an altercation involving a number of men.
"Two men, aged 41 and 45-years-old suffered injuries that required hospital treatment.
"Three men, aged 46, 54 and 51-year-old have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
"All three are due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday, August 3."
