A man was arrested after crashing into a wall near Kilwinning town centre.
Police were called out after the crash on Almswall Road just after 8pm on Sunday night with damage caused to a wall across from the Orange Hall.
While there were no serious injures, police say a 31-year-old was arrested and charged for motoring offences.
A spokesperson said: “Police were called around 8.15pm on Sunday, August 9, following the report of a one vehicle crash on Almswall Road, Kilwinning where a car collided with a wall.
“There were no serious injuries and a 31-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and he is due to appear at court.”
