DRUGS with an estimated street value of over £7,000 have been seized from a property in Mauchline.
A 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged in relation to drug dealing offences after a quantity of alleged class A drugs were found in Beechwood Road.
Officers forced entry to the property during a raid on Thursday, August 13 after locals raised concerns regarding drug dealing and drug misuse.
A full report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
A spokesperson for Ayrshire Police Division said: “The results of recent searches across Ayrshire are as a direct result of information provided by local communities who have highlighted drug dealing and drug misuse as a top priority for local policing.
“This information is vital for us to continue to tackle those involved in this type of crime.”
