Trustees from Ardrossan’s new charity Ardrossan Community Sports Hub handed over a cheque of £1000 to the head mistress of James McFarlane school, Lesley Ward.
The charity recognises that much of the school’s usual funding has been affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic and have given the donation to allow the school to assist its pupils with educational aids.
John Hunter and Eddie Gibb represented the charity at the presentation.
Ardrossan Community Sports Hub has been set up to promote the physical and mental health of the local community and the charity has big aspirations for the local area which they will publicise soon.
They will shortly be opening a new office in the town centre which will become the charities base.
The trustees would like to thank Mr Frank Sweeney and his staff at Cunninghame Housing Association for their ongoing support.
