SENIOR members of North Ayrshire Athletics Club took to the streets of the Three Towns over the weekend in support of the Ayrshire Hospice.

Twenty five members of the senior section signed up to raise money for the charity in memory of club member Neil Kyle, who recently passed away.

The runners split in to groups of five for a relay run where each runner would log a 10k time and the best combined team time would see that team crowned as the winners.

Runners could take part between Friday and Monday with each of the 25 runners logging a time under 60 minutes and a number of members setting new personal bests.

Team Pink came out on top with Scott Wilson, Ross Allan, Euan Temporal, Angela Reid and Tracy Anderson clocking a combined time of 3.52.06.

So far, the team have raised over £600 in aid of the Hospice.
