A BRAND new wellness facility recently used by Scottish Premier League stars has opened in Ayr, offering a whole-body extreme-cold experience to locals.
Situated on Dalblair Road, Aesthetics Ayrshire offers three minute sessions of extreme cold CryoAction therapy and has already welcomed a series of Kilmarnock Football Club players to the facility as part of their pre-season training as well as Rebecca Johnson and Billy Kirkwood from the West FM Breakfast Show.
The extreme-cold therapy has been scientifically proven to speed up recovery from exercise and injury, relieve chronic pain symptoms and improve cognitive function.
It can also enhance the quality of hair and skin, improving conditions such as psoriasis, boost the immune system and improve sleep quality.
The pioneering wellness centre has installed the only CryoAction chamber of its kind in Ayrshire.

CryoAction’s proprietary technology super-cools the air to create a temperature around the user of -80°C to -130°C. This causes blood circulation to increase and helps repair damaged muscles, as well as numbing nerves to relieve pain.
The opening of the centre has created four new jobs in the local area and the business has invested more than £300,000 in its ultra-modern facilities.
