A dental hospital in Glasgow city centre was evacuated this afternoon.
Fire crews raced to Sauchiehall Street just before 2pm.
But it emerged that an automatic fire alarm was behind the emergency response.
Local raised concerns after five fire engine were seen at the scene.
A spokeswoman for SFRS confirmed they were at the scene but that it was a false alarm.
