A78 by Stevenston closed due to accident involving pedestrian
A section of the A78 was closed because of an incident involving a pedestrian.
The road was closed between B714 Sharphill Roundabout and A738 Stevenston Road Pennyburn Roundabout.
Police officers closed the road as a precaution while dealing with what they described as a 'vulnerable person'.
The road is now reopened.
