A man has been charged with alleged drink driving after being stopped by cops in Stevenston.
A 42-year-old man will appear at court at a later date after being pulled over by the road traffic police at Lundholm Road on October 12.
Inspector Greg Dinnie Ayrshire Roads Policing Inspector said: “Road Safety is a priority within North Ayrshire and across the country.
The impact of driving whilst under the influence of alcohol can be catastrophic and officers will continue to remain visible on our roads to both prevent offences and detect individuals who drive their motor vehicles whilst under the influence of alcohol.”
