COVID-19 has been confirmed at a Three Towns primary school for the third time in two weeks.
Dykesmains Primary School already asked three classes to stay at home until further notice on Monday, November 9, after multiple coronavirus cases at the school.
But it was reported another class was told to self-isolate by the end of the week and, yesterday, NHS Ayrshire and Arran's Health Protection Team contacted parents and guardians to notify them tracing was happening again.
The letter, sent out on Thursday, November 19, reassured carers that 'the risk to pupils is very low'.
It reads: "If your child is contacted by our Test and Protect Team to let them know they are a close contact of somebody with COVID-19, they do not need a test, but must isolate for 14 days."
