It has been a day that many have been waiting for, with Football Manager 21 dropping today.
The video game allows players to simulate a manager experience - experiencing the highs and lows of a football season.
Football manager offers players the chance to manage in over 50 countries to manage with a database of over 800,000 players. The FM database is used by several clubs to help shape their recruitment strategies.
Knowing the key signings to make and looking at in-depth stats is an essential element to the game.
With many set to spend countless hours taking their team to the next level, we look at the two key players from Celtic and Rangers, and one tireless debate for fans- comparing Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard and Rangers hitman Alfredo Morelos.
But who is the better forward - and if you are to sign one, who do you go for? Here’s what Football Manager 21 found.
Alfredo Morelos
The Rangers forward is the key man for the Ibrox side in the game with a 4 out of 5 star rating with strengths, training rating, player style, important match contributions and his consistency listed as some of his key strengths. He is listed as a leading player for most Scottish Premier League sides - however, according to FM21, his weaknesses are his “competitive streak, versatility and lack of composure” listed as his weakness. The striker has a value of £13.25m on the recent installation of the game. His key technical skill is finishing with a rating of 16 out of 20.
Odsonne Edouard
22-year-old Odsonne Edouard is the star man for Celtic with the forward also having a 4 out of 5 rating on the match engine. The French U21 striker has strengths in his consistency, his ability to strike a ball sweetly, his versatility, and his playing style. The forward is listed as a leading player for most Scottish Premier League sides - with his one weakness in the game being that he fits into a secondary group in the dressing room rather than the core social group. His strongest attribute is his finishing, which has a rating of 17 out of 20.
Comparing the two
Alfredo Morelos is only ahead in a few areas of the game with his corner taking ability the only technical attribute stronger than the Celtic frontman. He does lead in other areas such as aggression, determination, anticipation, and bravery.

The players are both matched in terms of technique, passing, crossing, and work rate. He is also judged to be better off the ball according to the FM scouts. Odsonne Edouard is a stronger finisher, dribbler and leads in heading the ball with better composure and concentration.
