Dalry centre resembled a scene from a reality TV show as two Love Island stars paid a visit to the town’s newly opened super-takeaway.
Rebecca Gormley said she certainly won’t forget her first visit to the Garnock Valley along with co-star Biggs Chris.
The pair arrived to celebrate the official launch of Zain’s Curry House on 47 New Street, after its makeover and expansion.
Zain’s owner, Kurum Jabbar, said: “It was great to meet Biggs and Rebecca, especially since my wife Shazia and I are huge fans of the show.
“And it was great to see them enjoy their meal, they certainly appreciate a good curry.”

Dozens of fans turned up to enjoy the occasion and meet the reality TV stars, while maintaining social distancing rules.
Biggs and Rebecca had such a great time, they stayed for over three hours chatting to their fans and restaurant staff.
They were given a grand tour of the premises and enjoyed a meal with Biggs’s younger sister Cindy.
Biggs and Rebecca met during the filming of the sixth series of Love Island earlier this year.
The 28-year-old Glaswegian left the house after his ex-girlfriend objected to their on-screen romance.
After the show ended they got together again and picked up where they left off.
Biggs said: “I’ve had a wonderful time here, the food and staff are amazing.”
Rebecca added: “This is my first time in Dalry and I’m leaving with great memories of lovely people and incredible food.”
