Pupils performed a reading from The Grinch to bring some festive cheer amid the continuing coronavirus pandemic.
Glencairn Primary pupils performed a reading of the famous Dr Seuss work as part of a video for the virtual switch on – Stevenston Christmas Lights Fund organisers had to call off the usual event amid pandemic restrictions.
However organisers announced they would instead hold a virtual event for 2020 – with residents urged to keep an eye out on the Facebook page.
A spokesperson for the school said: “All the children involved did us proud.
“They only had three days to practise and performed like professionals.”
