A man has been arrested after a car hit two other vehicles and a cyclist in Ardrossan.
Yesterday, shortly before 2.30pm, members of the public called the police to report a vehicle driving down South Beach Road after hitting two other cars.
The vehicle also struck a cyclist, but thankfully nobody was reported as injured.
A 52-year-old man was arrested and is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court today, December 29.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "[At] about 2.30pm [December 28] police responded to several calls from members of the public reporting a motor vehicle being driven in South Beach Road, Ardrossan, and nearby streets having struck two other motor vehicles and a cyclist.
"No person was injured during this incident and a 52-year-old male was arrested for a number of Road Traffic and other offences.
"[The] male will appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court [December 29]."
