If you go down to Ardrossan's Glasgow Street you're sure of a big surprise.
A giant teddy appeared late on Friday night and has had residents going on a bear hunt to spot him.
The bear, who is almost six feet tall had the town talking and people smiling as he sat on the bench in Glasgow Street complete with his blue bow tie.
We posted his picture on Facebook on Sunday night asking people in the Three Towns for help with this bear hunt.
Who owned him? Was he left over from Castlehill Vaults pub when it shut its doors? Was he an unwanted Valentine's Day gift?
Lorna Logan said: "I saw it on Friday and thought I was seeing things as I've been on nightshift lol."
But Ged McVey reckons he knows what the bear was doing, he wrote: "He's waiting on Charlie's opening."
And one clue came from Jenny Easton who said: "He had been lying in the bins at back of pub in the lane for weeks. Think he needs a right good clean."
On Tuesday morning the bear was spotted on a new bench having a seat outside the former Evans Halshaw showroom in Sorbie Road.
Kirsty Dunn said: "Maybe someone wanted rid of it and thought that would be the easiest way or wanted to cheer people up, who cares?! It's doing no harm."
Is he your bear? We want to know if he belongs to you?
