A car has flipped on to its roof following a three-vehicle crash on the A78 at Stevenston this morning.
Police raced to the scene following the incident at 10.45am and closed the road in one direction approaching the Pennyburn Roundabout with massive tailbacks being reported.
The road reopened to traffic just before 1pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called around 10.45am on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, following the report of a three-vehicle road crash on the A78 near Stevenston.
"Emergency services are currently in attendance and there are no details of injuries at this time."
