The family of an Ardrossan man who has been missing for over 24 hours have issued a desperate plea for information.
Robert Holland, 38, was last spotted around 1pm on Glasgow Street in Ardrossan.
He is believed to have been wearing a grey woolly hat, black jacket, black jeans and black trainers.
His family have been out searching the town today with police also assisting.
Robert's cousin Leanne Salvona told the Herald: "Robert is a vulnerable person. We are extremely worried.
"There are about 15 of us out looking for him just now.
"It is completely out of character. We have heard nothing from him and there has been total silence. He has never been missing before.
"If anyone has any information however small please do get in touch."
Police Scotland confirmed that Robert was reported missing at 2.25pm today, and was last seen around 10.30am on Tuesday, February 16, with enquries ongoing to trace him.
