Stunned residents at Ardrossan's South Beach House Care Home were all smiles when they opened their front door on Sunday morning to see a giant teddy bear sitting on their bench.
The 40 residents and passers-by all took time to admire the giant bear as the sun shone for them.
The residents took to the windows of the seafront home to wave to everyone who had stopped to admire the teddy.
And followers of Rainbow, The Three Toons Bear, took to Facebook excitedly thinking the bear, who has been missing since he was last seen outside the Metro nightclub, had returned.
The bear, affectionately called Rainbow by his Facebook followers, was first spotted in Glasgow Street before moving to Saltcoats with his 'keep smiling' message board.
He hasn't been seen since ransom notes were left around the Three Towns for his safe return.
