Three arrested after alleged assault in Stevenston
Three people have been arrested after an alleged assault in Stevenston, the Herald understands.
Police raced to Glencairn Street last night just after 7.30pm following the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "About 7.35pm on Sunday, February 28, police received a report from a member of the public regarding a person acting aggressively on Glencairn Street, Stevenston.
"Police attended and at this time a 28-year-old Irvine man, 17-year-old Saltcoats woman and 20-year-old Irvine woman were all arrested for a number of offences."
