AS we entered March, we did so with some hope.

Vaccines have been rapidly rolled out across Ayrshire with almost 50 per cent of the local population receiving their first jag.

Warmer weather, lighter nights and the first flowers of spring give us all a much needed boost - and when the sky decides to boast an array of colours, you'd have to be the Grinch not to enjoy the allure of the Firth of Clyde, Arran and the sunsets we are so lucky to get. 

Last night was special, on any social media channel, you'd be hard pushed not to see an image or two of the orange, purple and radiant skies across the Three Towns.
