Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of an early morning house fire in Stevenston.
The incident happened just before 6am on Monday (March 1) at a property in the town's Muir Drive.
Two fire crews raced to the scene to put out the blaze with police also in attendance.
Nobody was injured in the incident with police confirming that enquires are ongoing to establish how the fire was started.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.50am on Monday, March 1, we received a report of a fire at a property on Muir Drive, Stevenston.
"There were no reports of injuries.
"Enquiries into the circumstances of the fire are ongoing."
