A popular Ardrossan cafe and fish and chip shop is set to reopen its doors for takeaways next week after being shut for two-months.

Cafe Palazzo decided to temporarily close back in January due to the latest coronavirus restrictions which forced premises to serve food from a serving hatch or door.

However, after a two-month delay the cafe has decided to reopen on Wednesday, March 17, for takeaways.

The cafe will be open from 7am until 10pm for takeaways while the chip shop will be open from midday until 11pm.

In a statement Cafe Palazzo said: “We look forward to seeing all our customers again and can’t wait  to serve you our famous fish and chips and traditional ice cream."
