A man in his sixties died suddenly in Kilwinning with his death being treated as unexplained.
Police were called out to Shavian Terrace in the Blacklands after the report of a sudden death at around 11am yesterday [Wednesday, March 10].
Officers confirmed that the 65-year-old man's death is currently being treated as unexplained but not suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report shortly after 11.05am on Wednesday, March 10 relating to the sudden death of a man at a property on Shavian Terrace in Kilwinning.
"The man was 65-years-old and the death is being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course."
