A FORMER Saltcoats man has been charged with indecently exposing himself to a young female prison staff member while in custody.
Andrew Gaffney, 23, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Friday, March 12.
He is alleged to have breached bail conditions on a number of occasions at Third Avenue in Irvine after failing to attend appointments in 2019.
Gaffney faces a second charge of intentionally exposing his genitals in a sexual manner towards a female staff member while residing in HMP Kilmarnock.
He faces a third charge of breaching conditions by allegedly failing to remain at his then address in Wellpark Road, Saltcoats after 6.30pm on August 13 last year.
Gaffney, now of Wilson Street Ayr, pled not guilty to the charges and is set to face trial later in the year.
