Two motorists were pulled over by police after they were allegedly caught speeding on 30mph roads.

Both men, aged 44 and 43, were both reported to the Procurator Fiscal after incidents in Ardrossan and Burnhouse.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Roads policing officers from Irvine charged two motorists with speeding on Wednesday, April 14. Both allegedly doing over 50mph in 30mph zones in Ardrossan and Burnhouse.

"The 44-year-old Bishopbriggs man and 43-year-old Barrhead man will be reported. Road safety remains a national priority."
