Police in North Ayrshire are appealing for help from the public who may have information that can help them trace a man from Saltcoats who's gone missing.

Craig Millar was last seen around 5.50pm on Thursday, April 15 at his home on Saughtree Avenue.

He is described as a white man, around 5ft 4in tall, of a stocky build, bald with beard stubble and tattoos on his arms. When last seen, Craig was wearing dark blue jeans and a dark blue jumper.

Craig also drives a grey Range Rover car.

Inspector Claire Duffy, of Police Scotland’s Ayrshire Response Policing Unit, said: “This is completely out of character for Craig to go missing and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“It is believed that Craig left his home address and may have travelled to the beach or shore front.

“I would ask anyone who notices anyone matching this description to get in touch with police.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 4164 of Thursday, 15 April, 2021.”
