Two people were arrested for breaching coronavirus rules in Kilbirnie.
Police were called to the town’s Bathville Road after reports of a ‘noisy party’ at around 11.30pm on Wednesday (April 21).
Officers say several individuals were informed of the current rules regarding indoor gatherings while two 23-year-olds had to be arrested for breaking the COVID-19 regulations.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said:"At about 11.30pm on 21/04/2021 police were called to reports of a noisy party at an address on Bathville Road, Kilbirnie.
"At this time a number of people were educated regarding the current COVID regulations and a 23-year-old Kilbirnie man and 23-year-old Kilbirnie woman were arrested for COVID related offences."
