The council is looking to replace the Citadel Leisure Centre after a 2018 consultation showed that just under half of all respondents said they never use the Centre.

Plans are also in place to create a new cinema and food and beverage outlets at the Kyle Centre.

Early proposals have been developed for the new leisure facility on the site of the existing Arran Mall and the former Hourstons department store.

However, it has received some criticism as the plans did not feature plans for a diving board to be included. A council spokesperson encouraged the public to get involved in the consultation to have their say.

Time is running out, but you can still access the consultation before today's 5pm deadline here.
